First, to access the Server Shift Review, make sure that the PIN Code feature is enabled at the Point of Sale. For more information on how to turn on the PIN Code feature, Click Here.

Once the PIN Codes have been enabled, servers will be able to access their own Server Shift Review. To access this information, employees will tap on the name displayed in the bottom-left side of the POS. Doing so will display the additional user settings.

Next, employees will tap on the “Server Shift Review”.

On the left-hand side of the screen, the “Cash Accounting” and “Payment Information” are displayed. The data that is displayed are:

  • Cash in Hand / Cash Transaction Amount
  • Total Gratuity and Fees
  • Non – Cash / Credit Card Tips
  • Total Payments / Non – Cash Payments / Cash Payments

On the right-hand side of the screen, the order completion checklist is displayed. This can be required to be completed before a server can clock out from their shift. It will make the server:

  • Has a completed payment on all orders started.
  • All credit card transactions have an adjusted tip amount entered.
  • That all orders have been considered “Completed”.

It is recommended that employees enter their tips from the Server Shift Review because the Point of Sale will filter out the orders to only show those that were assigned and attached to that server. This can streamline the tip adjustment process.

Once the top portion of this has been verified and completed, servers would then click “Next”. This will make the second level of the server shift review available. Managers would then be able to collect any cash that the server has in hand and tip out the employee. Once this is completed, employee / manager can then click on “Next”.

Finally, users have the option to print a server shift review. To complete the shift and clock the employee out, the user will tap on the “End Shift” option once and then again when it says “Done”.
