Addmi requires that the tDynamo Terminal to be specially configured for the Addmi Point of Sale. For more information on how to purchase the hardware, please contact us at: info@addmi.com

On the Terminal

Make sure the device is charged and able to turn on. If the terminal has power, turn on the device by pressing the power button on the side of the device for about 4 seconds. Turning on the device will have a “beeping” noise and will display a green light.

Make sure the device has successfully turned on by tapping the power button. This should trigger the device to display green lights, indicating the terminal's battery level.

(1 = 25%, 2 = 50%, 3 = 75%, 4 = 100%)

At the Point of Sale

1) Go to the Addmi POS Settings by tapping on the three lines in the top left and navigating to “Settings”.

2) Next, scroll down and select the “Magtek” option. Select the terminal type (Audio, Physical, Bluetooth).

(MagTek tDynamo = Bluetooth | MagTek iDynamo6 = Physical)

3) Next, tap on the “EMV” option. The POS will then begin to search for the Bluetooth terminal.

4) To activate the tDynamo’s Bluetooth pairing mode, you will need to hold the power button on the side of the terminal for about 3 seconds. This will cause the terminal device to blink a blue light in the bottom light panel. This blue light is very faint and can be hard to see.

5) Once found, the terminal will be displayed under “Discovered Devices”. Tap on the discovered device. A small module will appear asking for the "Pairing Code". Go ahead and skip this by tapping on “Pair”.

6) If successfully paired, the top of the screen should display the “Active Devices”. Confirm that there is a checkmark next to the tDynamo device name.
