Present full transparency with your customers by allowing them to see the full breakdown of their order for a better checkout experience. Addmi’s Customer Facing Display (CFD) visually presents the following during the checkout process:

  • Photo slide show when POS is inactive
  • Item details and modifications
  • Order sub-total
  • Customer tip selection
  • Receipt method

Requirements:

  • 2 iPads
  • Addmi Point of Sale App downloaded onto both devices.
  • Both iPad Bluetooth options turned ON.

Simple Setup

On your Addmi Point of Sale app on (iPad 1). Tap the three lines in the top left corner and navigate to “Settings”.

Next, scroll down to “External Display”. You will see the option to pair with the Addmi Customer Facing Display. (Continue set-up process on iPad 2)

On (iPad 2), access the Customer Facing Display. Tap the three lines in the top left corner and navigate to “miMode”. This will display the option to toggle the Customer Facing Display on the right-hand side of the screen. Tap on the "Customer Facing Display" to enable this feature mode.

(*Please Note: Swiping right from the edge of the screen on Addmi Point of Sale will also display the option to toggle Customer Facing Display mode*)

Begin the pairing process on both devices, triggering the point-of-sale device to search for a 4-digit pairing code. On the POS, (iPad 1), tap the discovered CFD code for (iPad 2). Your devices should pair within a few seconds.

Once the devices are paired, the POS (iPad 1) will show the connected device and will display a connection status. If the connection is successful, you will see "Connected" followed by a green icon.
