Addmi can be set up to limit new incoming orders based on how many orders are currently active.
You can also display to customers the approximate 'wait time' based on these same settings. Customers can see the wait time both before they complete the transaction in the ordering process, and after their order has been successfully placed on their order confirmation screen.
You can trigger online ordering to automatically pause when too many orders are placed simultaneously, based on your selected settings.
Setting your default Customer Wait Time
- Store > Front of House > Customer Wait Time
- Set your default Prep Time
- This will be used to notify customers of approximate Wait Time before and after a purchase
Modify and Automate
Once you have an initial Prep Time, you can add more specifics
- Add additional Prep Times
- Select how many new orders will trigger the Wait Time to be increased
- Opt to Disable Ordering automatically, based on your settings
- Your online store will display a message "Online Ordering is temporarily paused"
- Once you have fulfilled/cleared enough orders in Addmi DS or Point of Sale, online ordering will be available once again
