Item Variants are used to provide options such as sizes, colors, materials or price points to Items, and to track the inventory of each.
Item Variant Pricing and Inventory Tracking
You can set various pricing to correspond with each or your variation options.
For example, a t-shirt item may have options for color, and then also options for sizes for each of the colors. So your small t-shirts may be $12 while your medium is $13. Maybe the red also comes in large which is an extra dollar. This can all be set up in one easy to use interface.
You can track Item Variations inventory for internal use as well as to notify customers when an item is not available for purchase.
In this example you would have 3 size options for red shirts, and 2 for blue shirts. Stock is being tracked on the small red t-shirt option only.
