Additional POS Features and Settings:

  • Connection: The real time connection will show the last time it has refreshed the page, usually around thirty seconds, disconnect real-time to reconnect the entire system: For more information, Click Here
  • Till Management: Click enable till management for register access
  • Timecards: You must have a pin code to enable the timecard management, then it will show the Clock In/Out on the front page of POS
  • Point of Sale: Quick-Serve's main purpose to have a credit card checkout upfront, they will enter the tip on the iPad. Full Service is when you take their order, print the order out, give to the customer, collect their credit card, customer fills in tip, total, and signature
  • Printers: First, make sure your desired printer is configured to your point of sale (For more information on how to configure a printer, click here).
  • Pin Code: To enable the pin code, go on the Dashboard and under users, you are allowed to create unique pin codes for each employee. Must enable to have access to timecards



To Clock in and track employee hours

    

  1. First, make sure to enable the Pin Code and the Time Management features on the POS. 
    1. Tap the three lines in the top-left --> Navigate to "Settings" --> Turn on both "Pin Code" and "Time management".
  2. On the front page of the POS app or click your name at the bottom left corner, click Clock In/Out on the top right-hand corner
  3. Type in your 4-digit pin code and select start, end shift.



 To place an order

  1. To begin a new order, go to the "Store" when in Quick Serve, or tap "Start Quick Serve" if one of the other focus modes is enabled.
  2. Select the items of the order (if any special adjustments, enter a note at the bottom of the screen of the selected item) 
  3. Once you’ve added all the items on the ticket, select "Pay" on the bottom right-side of the screen and confirm. It will send it to the kitchen as well as Addmi ADS. 


Customized Items

  1. Select "Open Item" at the bottom of the screen

  2. Click on Custom Amount to change the name of the item and give the price point of the customized item

  3. Once finished, select add and it will automatically be placed on the ticket. 


To check out an open / unpaid order

  1. Click on the orders at the bottom-right of the screen and click the quick filter button for "Unpaid" orders

  2. Select the ticket you want to check out and select the "Edit" button under the Order section 

  3. If it is cash, enter the amount of cash given and select cash. For a shortcut, click quick cash options underneath the number pad


Print Ticket

  1.  Go to "Orders" and select on the ticket that you'd like to print

  2.  At the bottom of the order, you will have the option to reprint the payment, check or the order ticket.

Refund

  1. Go to the orders screen and locate the order needing to be refunded.

  2. Click on the ticket you would like to refund and at the top of the ticket, select Void and Refund

  3. Either select All Items for the entire check to be refunded or the certain item and select the reasoning of the refund

  4.  Then click on Void and Refund Whole Order (the ticket will be on the Refunded section)


Orders

  1. To receive the customer's information, go to their order and select the bottom arrow next to Order, it will give you the order number, customer's phone number, method, name, and when it was submitted
  2. To send the customer a notification, scroll to the bottom and select the Edit ETA Estimate (if you like to give a time estimate) on when the order will be ready and click Send Order Ready Notification
